The competitions motivate the students to face challenges and seek to achieve their goals.

We enable students to participate in the two most important robotics competitions in Brazil and in the world: the Brazilian Robotics Olympiad (OBR) and the International Youth Robot Competition (IYRC), the biggest robotics competition in Asia and brought exclusively by Maker Robotics to the country.

A group of winning students from this stage organized a trip to attend the IYRC World Stage in Seoul (Daejeon), South Korea on August 2-3, 2019 with 25 countries participating and won 2nd place in the Humanoid category.

IYRC – International Youth Robot Competition

World Robot Championship for children and young people from 6 years old and up. It counts with the participation of more than 20 countries and provides the competitors with a unique experience through numerous competition modalities and activities for scientific and social development.

The management of Grupo Maker has won the seal of approval to bring the IYRC to our country. From this achievement we held in September 2018 the first International edition of the IYRC in the city of Leme – SP, Brazil.

IYRC – in Brazil

This first edition of IYRC IN BRAZIL brought together 846 students from the municipal public school system, 111 students from private schools, as well as parents, guardians, educators, and local authorities, totaling approximately 4,500 people over the two-day event. The championship offered all participants an amazing experience, allowing the sharing of constructive ideas, technological solutions, involvement with other cultures, and lots of entertainment.

Also in 2019 it was the turn of Piracicaba – SP to host the second National Stage of IYRC IN BRAZIL and featured 22 schools from various regions of Brazil and reached the incredible mark of 1100 students participating and awarded prizes.

In 2020 and 2021, because of Pandemic, we had the ONLINE version, with teams and students from all over the world submitting their projects and participating in challenges.

In 2022, with some countries still maintaining some restrictions, due to the risk of virus transmission, the organization will create the challenge in METAVERSE format, where the event will have augmented reality and virtual reality resources.

There is the possibility of holding the National stage in 2022, date in which we will hold several eliminatory stages in various regions of the country and the grand final, which will be held in the city of Brasilia – DF. Whoever qualifies at the National in Brasilia will still be able to participate in the World Stage in 2023.
